Elle FKA Smudge
“I'm sure you get this from dog owners all the time, but Elle is not just a pet, she is a member of our family, and we wake up every day as excited as she is to spend time together.”
We adopted Elle (formerly Smudge) in 2021. She is the sweetest dog and the most perfect addition to our family. We caved this year and did the wisdom panel and found out she’s mostly Pitbull terrier and Staffy, but she’s 12% miniature poodle (that was a fun surprise)!
Elle defies all stereotypes of pitties, and often rescue dogs in general; she is smart, incredibly loving, and gentle. The joy she has added to our lives is beyond anything we could have imagined. Elle was badly injured as a pup and we are eternally grateful to Saving Grace, and the amazing foster parents who nursed her back to health. Her injuries do not bother her at all and the opportunity to give this perfect dog a chance to be loved and spoiled has added so much to our lives. We recently did a family photoshoot and I’ll share these pictures here!
Thank you, Saving Grace, for the work you do to give dogs (and other animals) a chance to live the life they all deserve. We truly believe dogs are too good for us humans, and we are extremely lucky to have found Elle.
