We have always enjoyed being a 2 Lab family. In 2018 we lost Duffy our 13-year-old black English Lab which caused our 5-year-old yellow Lab to be lonely.
A staff member at our vet’s office was friendly with Molly and introduced us to Saving Grace. We were notified when Bridie (aka Lucy) became available. While visiting the farm Bridie was happily investigating everything and everybody! This is still her personality.
When she arrived home the dogs met in the fenced backyard—-they stared, they barked hello, they ran in circles chasing each other and became BFF instantly. It was clear she had never lived in a house, but she quickly adapted after surveying everything!
She also trusted Brogan and learned to adapt. They are a happy twosome always wagging their tails and eating and sleeping side by side. Bridie was a welcome addition to our family. She is very gentle with our young grandchildren and plays well with our daughters English Lab….
